about

A sweet, wistful, mid tempo song about a guy hoping to be noticed by a beautiful woman across the crowded café.

lyrics

ON AN ORDINARY DAY

If you looked my way
I wonder what you'd see?
Probably some random guy,
But if I had my way,
You'd turn around to me,
And I'd somehow catch your eye,

God knows why the rivers run,
God knows why the deserts bloom,
God knows our eyes could meet
Across a crowded room …
If you looked my way
On an ordinary day.

If you looked my way
What would you make of me?
Beyond an average Joe...
But if this were the day,
And we were meant to be,
Somehow you would know,

God knows why the angels sing,
God knows why there’s fire and ice,
God knows this coffee shop
Could be a paradise …
If you looked my way
On an ordinary day.
If you looked my way
On an ordinary day...

They are still trying to "catch their breath..." ... more
